Football Ontario Announces New Members to Board of Directors
Football Ontario Has Elected New Members to its Board of Directors at the 2026 AGM This Past Sunday
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is excited to announce the 5 elected Directors at the organization’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) this past Sunday, four of these are returning members with one new member being added.
Football Ontario would like to extend its gratitude to the organization’s outgoing Director for their unwavering dedication and invaluable contributions. Their leadership and commitment have been instrumental in shaping the future of football in Ontario.
We would like to specifically acknowledge the following individuals for their exceptional service:
Dashawn Stephens
Carlos Roque, Chris Osei-Kusei, Ryan Clutterbuck, and Tiffany Hall have been re-elected as Board Members. The new member that has been elected to the board is: David Thomson.
David Thomson is an accomplished business executive with more than 30 years of leadership experience across professional sports, consumer packaged goods, marketing, and business strategy. Most recently, he served as Managing Director of NFL Canada, where he oversaw all aspects of the league’s Canadian operations, including media partnerships, fan development, corporate sponsorships, consumer products, and stakeholder relations. During his tenure, NFL Canada played a key role in the expansion of youth flag football programs across the country, helping support the sport’s continued growth and development. Prior to joining the NFL, David held senior leadership positions with organizations including Coca-Cola, Molson, and Clorox, leading commercial strategy and brand development for some of Canada’s most recognized consumer brands. His extensive experience in organizational strategy, partnership development, market growth, and sponsorship activation will provide valuable expertise to Football Ontario’s Board of Directors.
Football Ontario welcomes all of the returning and newest members of the Board as a part of the Football Ontario family and looks forward to their successes with the organization.
