Football Ontario Unveils 2025 Team Ontario Male U16 Tackle Coaching Staff
Football Ontario Announces the U16 Team Ontario Male Tackle Coaching Staff
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially unveiled the 2025 Team Ontario coaching staff for the U16 Male Tackle Program.

The coaching staff is to be led by returning Head Coach Kamau who the organization believes will build upon the squads Silver Medal finishes at the 2023 and 2024 Eastern Regional and lead the programs’ continued growth.
The 2025 staff has a ton of returning faces to the Team Ontario program paired with a vast amount of both coaching and playing experience and successes. The entire staff is listed below:
- Head Coach/Offensive Coordinator – Kamau Peterson
- Defensive Coordinator/Linebackers Coach – Jerome Walker
- Offensive Quality Control/Special Teams Coordinator – Nathan Walker
- Special Teams Coordinator/Defensive Backs – Isaiah Johns
- Defensive Line Coach – Kevin Velinor
- Offensive Line Coach – Matt Sewell
- Receivers Coach – Nigel Williams
- Running Backs/Tight Ends Coach – Nathaniel Benjamin
- Mentee/Linebackers Coach – Adeem Bembridge
- Developmental Coach – Marcus Tansley
- General Manager – Jordyn Mills
- Athletic Therapist – Paz Mukikala
- Equipment Manager – Jeff Ferrell
“I’ve been blessed to have great staff options every year and am always looking to develop and learn from coaches of all levels and ages. Being able to add 3 high level communicators and developers of the game to our staff is going to be tremendous for the team.” says returning U16 Head Coach, Kamau Peterson.

Football Ontario is excited to have this talented and experienced staff lead the Team Ontario program and players to a successful year and a successful 2025 Eastern Challenge. The staff provides top level coaches which will help the players in both their practical football techniques and skills as well as help further their exposure.
