Football Ontario Unveils 2025 Team Ontario U18 Women’s Tackle Coaching Staff
Football Ontario Announces the U18 Team Ontario Women’s Tackle Coaching Staff
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially unveiled the 2025 Team Ontario coaching staff for the U18 Women’s Tackle Program that will head to Calgary, AB for the Women’s Tackle National Championship in the summer of 2025.

Head Coach Carlie Manners is returning to lead the program after winning the 2024 National Championship in Fredericton, New Brunswick. Manners is the first female head coach of the Team Ontario program, and the country’s first female head coach to win a National Championship.
The 2024 staff will add a number of experienced and enthusiastic coaches as well as see a number of coaches returning from last year’s program. The entire staff is listed below:

For 2025, we are fortunate to welcome back incredible staff members from 2024 while also adding new team members who bring a wealth of experience, knowledge, and essential skills to help us retain our National Championship title. I have great confidence in this group, and I can’t wait to get started,” says Head Coach, Carlie Manners.
Football Ontario is excited to have this talented and experienced staff lead the Team Ontario program and players to a repeat National Championship title in 2025. The staff provides top level coaches who will focus on player development with a holistic athlete approach.
“Following the remarkable success of the 2024 season, which saw Team Ontario Red crowned National Champions in Fredericton, we are eager to build on this momentum in 2025. This year’s staff includes talented coaches from both Team Red and Team Black programs, ensuring we continue to leverage the strengths of our entire high-performance system. We look forward to working with the 2025 staff to further enhance and develop Team Ontario women’s tackle football and solidify our place as a leader on the national stage,” says Football Ontario’s Director of Development and Administration, Emily Todd.
