Football Ontario Announces Football Week in Ontario
The Third Annual Football Weekend in Ontario to be held November 24-25
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has announced the Football Week in Ontario which is to kickoff on November 16 and finish on November 24.
The week will kickoff in Ottawa on November 16th with the 2024 Football Ontario Fall Cup to declare the fall provincial champions. This event will take place at the Nepean Sportsplex (Minto Field).
The 2024 Fall Cup Championship games will take place between the top teams in the Ontario Fall Football League (OFFL) and the National Capital Amateur Football Association (NCAFA) to determine the top teams in the province.
The 2024 Fall Cup will bring in the Tier 1 Championship teams from both the OFFL and NCAFA as well as the Tier 2 Champions from each league to compete in a single championship game at the U14 and U12 level with the winners being declared the Tier 1 and Tier 2 Provincial Champions.
In the U10 age category the top two teams from both the OFFL and NCAFA will participate in a jamboree style day, the jamboree will be played at 6-a-side.

SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 16
U10 Jamboree G1 and G2: 9am (OFFL U10 Team 1 v NCAFA Team 1/OFFL U10 Team 2 v NCAFA U10 Team 2)
U10 Jamboree G3 and G4: 9:50m (OFFL U10 Team 1 v NCAFA U10 Team 2/OFFL U10 Team 2 v NCAFA U10 Team 1)
U12 Tier 2 Championship: 11am (OFFL U12 Tier 2 Champion v NCAFA U12 Tier 2 Champion)
U12 Tier 1 Championship: 1:30pm (OFFL U12 Tier 1 Champion v NCAFA U12 Tier 1 Champion)
U14 Tier 2 Championship: 4pm (OFFL U14 Tier 2 Champion v NCAFA U14 Tier 2 Champion)
U14 Tier 1 Championship: 7pm (OFFL U14 Tier 1 Champion v NCAFA U14 Tier 1 Champion)
Finally, the following weekend will be the third annual Football Weekend in Ontario. The event will be held November 23rd and 24th and will be returning to Queen’s University in Kingston for a second consecutive year.
The highlights of this weekend include the third annual Canadian Collegiate Women’s Flag Showcase, the Football Canaday ‘Try Football Day’, Team Ontario Flag Selection Camps and the Vanier Cup Championship Game.
The Canadian Collegiate Women’s Flag Showcase will host twelve women’s flag football teams, from both Ontario and Quebec, all competing in a two day tournament to be held on November 23rd and 24th.
The Football Canada 1st Down ‘Try Football’ Day will be a FREE EVENT put on by Football Ontario to encourage youth to get out and active and learn some of the fundamentals of the sport and will take place in the morning on Saturday, November 23rd at Queen’s University from 11:30am – 1pm.
The event will take place from Miklas-McCarney Field.
Football Canada’s First Down Program helps get kids under the age of eight moving and active while having fun. The goal is to help develop their movement abilities and foster further participation in physical activity or sport.
Finally, the weekend is all built around the 2024 Vanier Cup, being held at Queen’s University. Make sure to purchase your tickets while they are still available.
This week and weekend will be a total celebration of football and Football Ontario is thrilled to have the opportunity to assist with hosting this event alongside our partners, and to lead a successful weekend.
