Football Ontario Announces 2025 Team Ontario Flag Head Coaches 

Football Ontario Announces Team Ontario Flag Coaches for the 2025 season.

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is excited to announce the Men and Women’s Head Coaches for the 2025 Team Ontario Flag Programs. In 2025, Football Ontario will have eight total Flag Teams that will represent the province at the Elite Flag National Championships. This event will be hosted in Ontario with more information on the dates and location to be announced by Football Canada in the coming months

The age groups that will be present at this event are:

• .18 (2007)
• U18 (2008/2009)
• U16 (2010/2011)
• U14 (2012/2013)

For the second year in a row, Football Ontario is recruiting flag athletes ranging from the U14-18 age group for the 2025 flag football pathway. This provides 96 athletes and 16 coaches the opportunity to compete in a National Championship, develop their athletic skill set, and showcase their talents among the top flag football athletes in the country.

Football Ontario is thrilled to announce that all of the organization’s 2025 coaches will be returning from 2024, in which the organization earned a total of six medals at Elite Flag Nationals.

Below are the Women’s Team Ontario Flag Head Coaches for 2025: 

• U14 Girls: Kate Brandon
• U16 Girls: Thalia Wright
• U18 Girls: Steph Thinn
• 18 Women’s: Melissa Grieco

Below are the Men’s Team Ontario Flag Head Coaches for 2025: 

• U14 Boys: Jason Hayes
• U16 Boys: Kevin Dawkins
• U18 Boys: Matt Hill
• 18 Boys: Jonathan Nedeljkovic

Our teams brought home 2 bronze and 3 silver medals, a testament to the dedication of our Head Coaches. Football Ontario looks forward to having these returning coaching coaches provide their experience and talents to lead the Team Ontario flag athletes to success at the 2025 National Championships.
