Football Ontario Announces 2024 Club Flag Provincial Championships

Football Ontario in Partnership with UA Flag Canada Announces 2024 Club Flag Provincial Championships and Path to Nationals

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is excited to announce the 2024 Football Ontario Club Flag Provincial Championships powered by Under Armour Flag. The event will be held over the August 10-11 weekend.

The Football Ontario Club Flag Provincial Championships powered by Under Armour Flag will be held in Georgetown, ON and will be hosted by Under Armour Flag at Trafalgar Sports Park and Georgetown District High School.

Both SR Tournaments (Men’s and Women’s) will take place at Georgetown District High School with the remaining age groups playing at Trafalgar Sports Park.

Event Highlights:

  • Largest provincial flag event in Ontario to date
  • Multiple age categories with both men’s and women’s divisions
  • Open to all Football Ontario members and high-school teams.
  • A chance to compete for a Provincial Championship and qualify for Nationals in Brampton, ON (August 23-25)

The Provincial Championship will be open for all Football Ontario members as well as high-school teams. This tournament will grant athletes an opportunity to both compete for a Provincial Championship as well as earn the right to represent one of the flag teams that will represent the province at Nationals in the summer of 2024 in Brampton, ON.

Registration Details:

  • Cost: $500 per team before July 1st. $600 per team after July 1st
  • Deadline: No more registrations after July 15, 2024. There will be no refunds after registration closes. Any refund requests prior to this date will incur a $100 administration fee.
  • Team Composition: Minimum 7 players, maximum 12 players per team. Two coaches are allowed on the sideline.

  • SR Men (2005+)
  • SR Women (2005+)
  • 18 Men (2006)
  • 18 Women (2006)
  • U18 Men (2007/08)
  • U18 Women (2007/08)
  • U16 Men (2009/10)
  • U16 Women (2009/10)
  • U14 Men (2011/12)
  • U14 Women (2011/12)
  • U12 Co-Ed (2013/2014)

Football Ontario is also thrilled to announce that the 2024 Football Canada Club Flag Nationals is to be held in Brampton, ON from August 23-25. The entire event will take place at Sandalwood Park.

PURCHASE TICKETS FOR THE 2024 CLUB NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The Club Flag Nationals will be home to both the Elite Club Division and the Open Club Division, each containing eight different groups:

  • 18 Men (2006)
  • 18 Women (2006)
  • U18 Men (2007/08)
  • U18 Women (2007/08)
  • U16 Men (2009/10)
  • U16 Women (2009/10)
  • U14 Men (2011/12)
  • U14 Women (2011/12)

All teams participating in the Club Flag Provincial Championships must declare their interest to compete in the Football Canada Club Flag Nationals.  The top declared team from each division will be invited to the Elite Club Flag Nationals, the next ranked team(s) will be invited to attend the Open Club Flag Nationals based on spot availability,  with Ontario guaranteed at least one spot in each division for the Open Club Nationals.

Teams that do not declare interest upon registration for the Provincial Championships will not be invited to attend either Club Flag Nationals event.
