Football Canada Announces 2024 Club Flag Nationals
Open and Elite Club Flag Nationals to be held in Brampton from August 23-25
Ottawa, Ontario – Football Canada is excited to announce the 2024 Football Canada Club Flag Nationals as a part of the 2024 Football Canada Flag Championship Series. The Club Flag Nationals will play home to two separate events over the course of a single weekend.
Brampton, ON will play home to both the Elite Club Flag Nationals and the Open Club Flag Nationals. The event will be hosted at Sandalwood Park in Brampton from August 23-25 and will be hosted by Football Ontario.
“This is another great opportunity to showcase the amazing athlete’s from across the country, to celebrate the commitment and efforts of our partners to grow this exciting game, and to share in the best of what sport brings out in our communities. Football Ontario set the bar high with a fantastic event in Kingston this weekend and we’re expecting another great event in Brampton.” says Kevin McDonald, Managing Director of Football Canada.
The Elite Club Flag Nationals will be restricted to the top club team from each province based on provincial standings and/or results at the Provincial Championship.
The Open Club Flag Nationals will be open to all clubs that are in good standing with their Provincial Sports Organization (PSO), the number of registrants for the tournament will be limited per division. These spots will be given out at the discretion of each PSO. Please contact your PSO for more information.
The tournament fee for each participating team will be $500. Team registration will be done through Football Canada.

This groundbreaking event is set to feature 4 different age categories, 16 total divisions, 80+ teams, and 800+ athletes from all across the country.
Both the Open and Elite Club Flag Nationals will host the following divisions:
- U14 Women’s (2011/2012)
- U14 Men’s (2011/2012)
- U16 Women’s (2009/2010)
- U16 Men’s (2009/2010)
- U18 Women’s (2007/2008)
- U18 Men’s (2007/2008)
- 18 Women’s (2006)
- 18 Men’s (2006)
