Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario and the Ontario Summer Football League are announcing that bids are open to host sites for the 2024 and 2025 Football Ontario Summer Cup Provincial Championships.
Football Ontario is seeking to host the 2024 Summer Cup in Eastern Ontario and the 2025 Summer Cup in Western Ontario.

In 2022, the event had over 8000 spectators and sold 6000 tickets (Kids Under-12 Free). To go along with these in-person spectators, the 2022 Summer Cup stream also had another 10 000 unique viewers over this two week period of games.
The chosen host facility must have in place:

- Volunteer Infrastructure
- Other Amenities to be Considered
The most competitive and comprehensive bids will be reviewed by the selection committee for consideration.
“We’re proud of the growth and the increasing impact of the Summer Cup every year. It’s more than just a championship; it’s a celebration of Ontario’s rich football tradition and a showcase of the future talent of our province. Hosting this event is an opportunity for cities to be part of that legacy, and we’re eagerly anticipating the bids.” says Aaron Geisler, Executive Director of Football Ontario
“The passion, dedication, and skills displayed at the Summer Cup are a testament to the hard work of our players, coaches, and communities across Ontario. As we open bids for the next two years, we’re looking for partners who share our commitment to elevating the sport and offering an unforgettable experience for all participants and fans alike.” says Marny Sharpen, Chair of the OSFL.
All bids will be reviewed and decided upon based on favourable host support and amenities. The deadline to submit applications is October 1/23.
