Football Ontario Announces 2023 U16 Women’s Flag Football Team Ontario West and East Roster

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially unveiled the U16 Women’s Flag Football Team Ontario west and east roster to represent Ontario at U16 Women’s Nationals at St. FX University in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.

Football Ontario is excited to unveil these rosters after months of hard work from all of the athletes, coaches, and volunteers throughout the entire identification and evaluation process.

 “The coaches, athletes, and support staff have worked incredibly hard for months to get to this point. We are excited to see them be able to wear the trillium on their jerseys and compete for a regional and national championship”. Says Aaron Geisler, Executive Director of Football Ontario

Football Ontario is thrilled to send the U16s to the National Championship in Nova Scotia and have the opportunity to compete for the gold medal.

We are excited for our U16s to be able to showcase their talents on the National Stage in July. This is an opportunity our athletes have been waiting for, for a long time and we feel that Ontario has some of the best players, not only in the province but the entire country. The players chosen to represent Ontario on the national stage are comprised of athletes from diverse athletic backgrounds.

The Football Ontario U16 Women’s Flag team will take part in the National Championship in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
