Football Ontario Unveils 2023 Team Ontario Women’s U18 Tackle Coaching Staff

Football Ontario Announces the U18 Team Ontario Women’s Tackle Coaching Staff

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially unveiled the 2023 Team Ontario coaching staff for the U18 Women’s Tackle Program.

The coaching staff is to be led by returning Head Coach Mark Ouellet who led the 2022 squad to a 4th place finish at the inaugural 2022 U18 Women’s Tackle National Championship in Regina

The 2023 staff will have a number of returning coaches as well as some new additions. The entire staff is listed below.

  • Head Coach – Mark Ouellet
  • Offensive Coordinator – John Parkes
  • Defensive Coordinator – Kyle Cole
  • Special Teams Coordinator/Receivers Coach – Taylor MacIntyre
  • Defensive Assistant – Jay Grosset
  • Offensive Line Coach – Carlie Manners
  • Apprentice Coach – Heather Hamilton
  • Athletic Therapist/Strength & Conditioning – Maddie Holman
  • Equipment Manager – Andrew Thompson
  • General Manager – June Roy

When asked about his excitement for this upcoming season, Head Coach Mark Ouellet said, “As a staff, we’re excited to begin work to build on the successes of Team Ontario’s 2022 tournament. The new faces in our group bring refreshing new approaches and ideas which will help us continue to develop the players in our program. As we set our goals for 2023, we’re raising the bar for everyone, both on-field and off. I know that this staff will be dedicated to delivering the absolute best experience available for Team Ontario and we can’t wait to meet our players this winter.”

Football Ontario is excited to have this talented and experienced staff lead the Team Ontario program and players to success in 2023 at the National Championships. The staff  provides top level coaches which will help the players in both their practical football techniques and skills as well as help further their exposure.
