Football Ontario Elects Tiffany Hall to the Board of Directors

Football Ontario Has Elected One New Member to its Board of Directors at the 2022 AGM This Past Saturday

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has elected one new member to its Board of Directors at the 2022 Annual General Meeting  (AGM) this past Saturday.

Tiffany Hall was chosen and voted in by the members to serve on the Board of Directors for Football Ontario.

This election brings a new face to the board and brings depth of football and sport leadership that will help strategically guide Football Ontario into the future.

Throughout her life, Tiffany Hall has been involved in the sporting community but found a passion for football in 2004 when she started playing co-ed flag, then eventually moving into the Touch Football Ontario (TFONT) league in 2006 where she has played ever since.

She continues to develop as an athlete by playing with many other organizations: MWFFL, OYFFL, TTFL including the World Championship tour (FFWTT) in Orlando/Tampa where Tiffany has had the opportunity to play against Team US and teams from other countries.

Her spirit of community involvement continues during the off-season by refereeing children’s flag, Peel Region high school girls’ flag and men’s flag and touch football leagues throughout the GTA. Tiffany had served 6 years on the executive for MWFFL (Mississauga Women’s Flag Football League) as Treasurer managing the league annual budget, website, recording stats and helping with game scheduling.

Tiffany has worked for over 14 years within the financial/banking industry focusing on budgets and forecasts and enjoys taking time to travel. Tiffany is a 2007 graduate of the University of Guelph where she earned her BBA in Finance and continued her education by later completing her MS in Health and Sports Science from American Public University.

Tiffany’s experience in many styles of football can provide leadership, insight, experience, and on-field expertise to the Board of Directors.

“I’m very honoured and thrilled to have this opportunity to work with Football Ontario. I’m looking forward to continuing to help drive growth and create more opportunities for football in Ontario.” says Tiffany Hall.

This year’s AGM was conducted virtually over Zoom.

In the Football Ontario governance structure, the business of Football Ontario is conducted by a Board of Directors.
