Football Ontario Opens Registration for Team Ontario Male Futures and Identification Camps

Football Ontario Opens Registration for Four Football Ontario Futures and Identification Camps Across the Province

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially announced locations and opened registration for Phase One of the 2022 High Performance Program.

NOTE: Football Canada has required full vaccination status for all eligible individuals to participate in any Football Canada competition – Proof of full vaccination is required for all participants.

Phase One will take place in January and February with Football Ontario Futures and Identification Camps. There will be a total of four camps held across the province with an Eastern Camp, a Northern Camp, a Central Camp, and a Southwestern Camp. Players will have the opportunity to pay a one time fee to attend any or as many of the camps as they wish. The players may use these camps as a way to declare their intent on making the Team Ontario program, be identified, or simply further develop and hone their skills with the great coaching that will be available. Players will be identified for three regional TOP 75 rosters at each age group to move onto the Football Ontario High Performance Academy.

The price of the camp is set at $59.99 in addition to having a 2022 Football Ontario High Performance membership. However, if you register prior to January 1st, 2022 you will receive a discounted price of $49.99.

After the long absence of high performance programming across Canada, Football Ontario is excited to be able to once again offer opportunities to showcase all of the football talent the province has to offer at the provincial, regional, and national levels. These camps are the first stage in doing so.

“I am so grateful and blessed that we are, once again, able to provide development opportunities for both our student-athletes and coaches in the province. Our mission at Football Ontario is “To provide football for all, through leadership, promotion and development.” Our coaches, GMs and support staff have been working to create opportunities to grow and innovate our High Performance program. This is to strengthen our commitment to providing more inclusive, diverse and equitable for all” says JT Tsui, the Director of Sport for Football Ontario.
