“I am incredibly proud to continue my coaching journey as the new Head Coach of Football Ontario’s U18 Women’s Tackle Program. It’s an honour to follow in the footsteps of Coach Carlie Manners, whose leadership built a culture of preparation, hard work, and excellence within this program. Ontario is home to an exceptional pool of female athletes and coaches, and I’m excited to work with and support talent from every corner of the province. Together with Football Ontario and a passionate coaching staff, we are committed to advancing women’s football both on and off the field across Ontario and beyond.
Our goal remains clear: to grow the game, create meaningful opportunities for girls and women, and compete with excellence at the national level.” says Coach Dan Legros
A dedicated advocate for women in sport, Legros has not only coached athletes but also mentored young men and women to take on leadership and coaching roles. His past involvement with Team Ontario includes coaching the U14 Boys team and serving as General Manager of the U16 Men’s Tackle program, showcasing his versatility and commitment to all levels of development.
