Football Ontario Announces Dates For Central Football Ontario Futures and Identification Camp
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially announced Central Camp locations and dates for Phase 1 of the 2022 High Performance Program.
NOTE: Football Canada has required full vaccination status for all eligible individuals to participate in any Football Canada competition – Proof of full vaccination is required for all U16 and U18 participants.
Phase One will consist of Football Ontario Futures and Identification Camps. There will be a total of three camps for each age level (U18, U16, and U14) held across the province with a Northern Camp, a Central Camp, and a Southern Camp. Players will have the opportunity to pay a one time fee to attend any or as many of the camps as they wish. The players may use these camps as a way to declare their intent on making the Team Ontario program, be identified, or simply further develop and hone their skills with the great coaching that will be available.
The price of the Football Ontario Futures and Identification Camp is set at a discounted $49.99 due to the rescheduling, in addition to having a 2022 Football Ontario High Performance membership.
After the long absence of high performance programming across Canada, Football Ontario is excited to be able to once again offer opportunities to showcase all of the football talent the province has to offer at the provincial, regional, and national levels. These camps are the first stage in doing so.
“I am so grateful to be able to work alongside great community partners like the University of Toronto and St. Andrew’s College so we can provide this opportunity for our GTA student-athletes and coaches. I look forward to meeting all of our GTA student-athletes and parents at these two ID camps.” says JT Tsui, Director of Sport for Football Ontario.
