Football Ontario is Seeking 6 Regional Support Coaches for the U14 Male Team Ontario Tackle Program

Football Ontario Hiring U14 Male Tackle Coaches

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is now accepting applications for regional support coaching positions with the U14 Male’s Team Ontario tackle football team. 

Football Ontario has created these regional support coaching positions as an entryway for community coaches into the High-Performance space.

The organization would like to select coaches from each of the following regions, however, it is at the judgement of the hiring committee based on the number of candidates and the credentials of those candidates.

Preference will be given to the top candidates who embody the organization’s values regardless of geographical region.

REGIONAL SUPPORT COACH ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  1.  ADMINISTRATION
  2. Support GM and HC to maintain up-to-date player and coach contact information, distribute Football Ontario communications and sign off on relevant documents


2. COMMUNICATION

  1. Assist HC and GM with any communication needs
  2. Outreach/ communication with regional community partners to recruit volunteers for events and sponsors
  3. Promote events (ID Camps, recruitment opportunities) through social media to drive registration and player participation

3. HIGH PERFORMANCE PATHWAY

  1. Collaborate with rest of staff to create a practice plan for Regional ID Camp
  1. Attend virtual sessions/meetings 
  1. Attend Regional in-person ID Camp (tentative dates and locations for 2025): 
    • ID Camps:
      • Waterloo  ID Camp: January 11
      • York ID Camp: January 25
      • Sudbury ID Camp: February 22
