Football Ontario Successfully Concludes 2023 Annual General Meeting

Hamilton, ON – June 12, 2023 – Football Ontario recently convened its 2023 Annual General Meeting (AGM on June 4, 2023), marking a significant milestone for the organization with key updates and exciting new changes in store.
In accordance with the Ontario Non-Profit Act, Football Ontario’s updated Constitution and By-Laws were unanimously approved by members present at the AGM. This approval signifies a critical step forward in ensuring the organization operates under updated regulatory guidelines. The revised Constitution and By-Laws can be accessed HERE
The AGM also marked the review and approval of the organization’s 2022 finances, affirming the robustness and transparency of Football Ontario’s fiscal operations. Continuing the momentum, three prominent Board members, Alexia Tam, Mark Antonelli, and Matt Rossetti, were re-elected to the Football Ontario Board of Directors. They will serve another dedicated two-year term, exemplifying steadfast leadership and commitment to the betterment of the sport. Additionally, Mr. Don Hamilton was re-elected to the notable new position of Chair of the Board, aligning with the organization’s transition plan detailed in the updated By-Laws. His two-year term will be instrumental in driving Football Ontario toward its mission.
Football Ontario would like to thank Mark Denobile for his tenure on the Football Ontario Board. During his time on the board, Mark was instrumental in the development of the Football Ontario Hall of Fame. Mark will remain as the chair of the Football Ontario Hall of Fame and continue his work to help recognize deserving individuals in the Football Ontario community.
