Football Ontario Announces Hiring of Two Officials Coordinators
Football Ontario Brings on Trevor Semple and Kevin Baird as New Officials Coordinators
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is thrilled to announce that Trevor Semple and Kevin Baird have been brought on by the organization to serve as the new Officials Coordinators.
“I live to experience new places and people and working with football Ontario will be a new challenge I am looking forward to.” says Trevor Semple.
Trevor and Kevin will be responsible for coordinating officiating-related tasks in collaboration with the Ontario Football Officials’ Association (OFOA), the OFOA President as well as non-contact officials.
They will also be coordinating recruitment and training initiatives with Football Ontario, the OFOA, and local officiating associations, documenting and tracking new officials in the province, establishing and communicating rule variations and officiating standards, scheduling officiating requirements for championships, and attending OFOA executive meetings.
“I’m looking forward to building relationships within the football community and with fellow officials through education and dialogue.” says Kevin Baird.
