These camps will lead to Phase Three of the High Performance Women’s Tackle Program to be held in June with a Team Ontario Development Camp. The top candidates from the Identification Camps will be selected to attend this event. The Team Ontario Development Camp will consist of a 5-6 hour session that will consist of skills, drills, theory and competition with the Team Ontario coaches.

Following these phases the final U18 Women’s Team Ontario roster will be named and selected to take part in the Football Canada U18 Women’s National Championship being held in Regina over the summer. To view the entire national championship schedule CLICK HERE.

“Thank you to Coach Mark Ouellet and his Team Ontario coaching staff for their input in helping us  to create this High-Performance Roadmap. This creates a clear pathway for more females to become involved in our beautiful game so we can ensure more diverse, equitable and inclusive opportunities are provided.” says JT Tsui, Director of Sport for Football Ontario.

After the long absence of high performance programming across Canada, Football Ontario is excited to be able to once again offer opportunities to showcase all of the football talent the province has to offer and finally showcase the amazing women talent the province has to offer.

Football Ontario is excited to have the opportunity to travel to the National Championships in 2022 and lead a successful Team Ontario Women’s program in order to showcase all the talent the province has to offer.
