Football Ontario Unveils 2026 Team Ontario Flag Rosters
Football Ontario announces the Team Ontario U14, U16, U18, and U19 teams
Hamilton, ON – Football Ontario is proud to announce the launch of its Team Ontario Flag Football program, marking another important step in the continued growth and success of flag football across the province. The program will bring together top athletes from Ontario to compete at the national level while representing the province with pride and excellence.
Athletes selected to the Team Ontario Flag Football program will make up the provincial teams, with coaching staffs finalizing both rostered athletes and alternates through the training camp process. Training camps will serve as a critical evaluation period, ensuring that each team is built with the strongest possible combination of skill, teamwork, and competitive readiness.
Building on the success of recent seasons, Football Ontario enters this year’s national competition with strong expectations across all divisions. The province’s flag football program has continued to gain momentum, highlighted by last year’s performances on the national stage.
“We are building off of last year’s momentum with the goal of competing for gold, or at minimum, a podium finish in every division,” said Olivia Ghosh-Swaby, Manager of Flag Development. “We are already extremely proud of our U16 Boys team, who represented Canada at the Junior International Cup. That experience speaks to the talent within our program and the pathway we are continuing to develop for flag football athletes in Ontario.”
The Team Ontario Flag Football program reflects Football Ontario’s ongoing commitment to high-performance athlete development, coaching excellence, and creating meaningful competitive opportunities for players across the province.
