Football Ontario Unveils 2026 Team Ontario Male U16 Tackle Coaching Staff
Football Ontario Announces the U16 Team Ontario Male Coaching Staff
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially unveiled the 2026 Team Ontario coaching staff for the U16 tackle program.
The coaching staff is led by Head Coach Kirby Camplin, who enters his first year with the U16 Male Tackle Program. Kirby brings over 20 years of coaching experience to the role. He spent five seasons on the coaching staff at Carleton University from 2013-2017.
The 2026 staff brings some returning coaches along with exciting new coaches to the Team Ontario program, who have a vast amount of both coaching and playing experience and success. The entire 2026 staff is listed below:
- Head Coach – Kirby Camplin
- Offensive Coordinator – Alex Derma
- Defensive Coordinator – Kevin MacNeil
- Special Teams/REC – Nathan Walker
- Running Backs – Dakota Brush
- Offensive Line – Ross Asaro
- Defensive Line – Craig Hodge
- Linebackers – Mathieu Lapierre
- Defensive Backs – Josh Cumber
- General Manager – Lüd-Marie Louissaint
- Equipment Manager – Thomas Uhr
Head Coach Kirby said this when asked about being the Head Coach: “Humbled to have been chosen as the head coach of U16 Team Ontario. Looking forward to selecting and developing the top U16 athletes in Ontario.”
Football Ontario is thrilled to have this talented and experienced staff lead the Team Ontario program and players to a successful year and an exciting and successful 2026 Eastern Challenge. The staff provides top-level coaches, who will help the players in both the growth of their practical football techniques and skills, as well as help further their exposure.
