Football Ontario announces community partnership with the Buffalo Bills

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is proud to announce a multi-year partnership with the Buffalo Bills, marking a major step forward in growing the game of football across Ontario. As an official community partner, the Bills will work with Football Ontario to increase exposure for the sport at all levels across the province, enhance both athlete development and the athlete experience, and accelerate Football Ontario’s goals of increasing participation numbers. The agreement will run through March 2027

“This partnership represents a tremendous opportunity for Football Ontario to align with an iconic NFL franchise that shares our vision for community development and growing the game at every level,” said Aaron Geisler, Chief Executive Officer of Football Ontario. “The Buffalo Bills’ investment and engagement in Ontario football will create a lasting impact for athletes, coaches, and families across the province.”

The Buffalo Bills will support and activate at key Football Ontario programs and events, such as the upcoming 2025 Fall Cup Provincial Championships and the 2025 Metro Bowl as well as the 2026 High School Girls Flag Provincial Championships and more events to be announced in the future.

● 2025 Fall Cup Provincial Championships – November 15th, 2025

“Football Ontario is a leader in the Canadian football community and this partnership underscores our shared mission of making football accessible to all through tackle and flag football development programs, events, and initiatives,” said Kate Hussmann, Buffalo Bills Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer. “While the passion for the Bills throughout Canada is already tangible, we want to ensure the next generation of potential football fans has the opportunity to fall in love with the sport, and we are excited to work alongside Football Ontario to improve access to and grow the game of football throughout Southern Ontario.”

The partnership will also include collaborative initiatives designed to expand football participation across the province such as youth and flag football clinics across the GTA and the Niagara Region.

Under the agreement, the Buffalo Bills will be featured across Football Ontario’s communication channels and participate in a yearly Bills-branded 50/50 raffle supporting football clubs within the province. The Bills will also engage with Football Ontario’s membership through branded promotions, giveaways, and activation opportunities for Football Ontario members.

The partnership further reinforces Football Ontario’s mission to grow the sport of football through collaboration, alignment, and excellence. The organization continues to secure partnerships that enhance experiences for members, expand opportunities, and build a sustainable future for the sport in Ontario.
