Football Ontario Launches Strategic Planning Process
Football Ontario Calls for Member Input to Shape the Future of Football
Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario has officially launched the development of its next multi-year Strategic Plan, setting the course for the future of football across the province. The organization is calling on all members of the football community to participate in shaping the direction of the sport by completing an anonymous province-wide survey.
The Strategic Plan will serve as the guiding framework for Football Ontario’s growth, investment, and priorities over the next five years, ensuring that all decisions reflect the shared values and vision of athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, parents, volunteers, and league partners.
The Strategic Plan Survey will collect critical insights from across the community to identify strengths, challenges, and opportunities within the sport. Feedback will directly inform how Football Ontario allocates resources and supports the development of programs and services across all levels of play.
Call to Action
Football Ontario encourages all stakeholders to take 10–15 minutes to complete the survey by November 28, 2025.
Responses will be used solely for the purpose of strategic planning.

Why Your Input Matters
By completing the survey, participants will help shape the direction of:
- Grassroots and community football development
- High-performance and Team Ontario programs
- Coaching and officials’ education and certification
- Organizational support for local clubs and leagues
A dedicated Strategic Planning web page will also be launched, hosting the full Strategic Planning Roadmap, details on upcoming virtual town halls where community members can share feedback and ideas directly and more.
