Football Ontario Announces the Launch of the Ontario Elite Flag League (OEFL)

OEFL LAUNCHES THIS SEPTEMBER

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is proud to announce the official launch of the Ontario Elite Flag League (OEFL), a brand-new CLUB-level flag football league set to begin play in September 2025. This inaugural year will serve as a pilot for the program.

The OEFL is designed to raise the standard of flag football competition across Ontario, offering elite development opportunities for CLUB athletes while aligning directly with provincial and national performance pathways.

The first official league-play division of the OEFL will debut in September 2025 as the South Eastern Division, proudly hosted by the Burlington Minor Football Association (BMFA). This inaugural division will provide athletes with a premier competition platform from the very beginning.
