Football Ontario Announces 2025 Club Flag Provincial Championships

2025 Club Flag Provincial Championships to be held in Brampton from July 19-20

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is proud to officially announce the 2025 Club Flag Provincial Championships, powered by Under Armour Flag, taking place July 19–20 at the Fountain Street Soccer Complex in Cambridge, ON.

Registration Details:

• Early-Bird Rate: $649.99 (available until June 16)
• Standard Registration Fee: $699.99 (June 17–30)
• Final Deadline to Register: June 30, 2025

The 2025 edition is projected to be the largest Club Flag Provincial Championship in Ontario history, showcasing the province’s top youth talent and continuing the rapid growth of flag football across all age groups and regions. The event is being hosted in collaboration with Under Armour Flag, one of Football Ontario’s key partners in expanding access and opportunity within the sport.

The Provincial Championships will feature nine divisions across boys, girls, and mixed teams:

• U19 Men (2007)
• U19 Women (2007)
• U18 Men (2008/09)
• U18 Women (2008/09)
• U16 Men (2010/11)
• U16 Women (2010/11)
• U14 Men (2012/13)
• U14 Women (2012/13)
• U12 Mixed (2014/15)

At the U16 age level for both girls and boys, the top ranked team from each of the 6 regions of the province will also be invited to attend the 2026 Ontario Summer Games the following summer. 

Flag Football will be held at the event for the second time in history and will feature 12 total (6 boys and 6 girls) U17 programs from across the province.

Teams competing at Provincials will not only vie for provincial championships, but also a chance to qualify for the 2025 Football Canada Club Flag National Championships, which Football Ontario announced earlier this spring will return to Creditview Sandalwood Park in Brampton from August 15–17, 2025. The Club Nationals, hosted for a second consecutive year by Football Ontario, are expected to feature 80+ teams and over 800 athletes from across the country. With eight divisions and a growing national profile, the event is a cornerstone of the flag football pathway in Canada.

Participation in the Ontario Provincial Championships is mandatory for Ontario-based clubs looking to qualify for Nationals. This ensures a fair, structured, and performance-based pathway to the national stage.
