Football Ontario Announces 2025 High School Girls’ Flag Provincial Championships

Inaugural Championship Event to be Held June 10 in 2025 

Hamilton, Ontario – Football Ontario is excited to announce the inaugural High School Girls’ Flag Championship to be held June 10 in Hamilton, ON. This event will be hosted in partnership with the Buffalo Bills and NFL Canada, continuing the momentum behind the growth of flag football in Ontario.

The 2025 High School Girls’ Flag Provincial Championship will play host to three different divisions, one Junior Division, and two Senior Divisions (JR Division, SR Trillium Division, and SR Great Lakes Division). With over 30 total teams, and 11 different school boards from across the province all being represented. Each participating school will be  receiving an official NFL Flag Kit to continue developing their flag football programs within their schools. 

This tournament represents a milestone for the growth of Flag Football within the province as the first ever high-school provincial championship for girls flag football. This event will not be a ticketed event and will be free to attend for anyone who wishes to come watch what should be a fantastic day of football.
