Football Ontario: Interns to Industry

Marlo Holly is a former intern with Football Ontario. During her time, she focused on a diverse set of tasks, doing her best to learn crucial skills for a wide variety of positions. Holly has moved on to work for the London Knights as a Marketing Intern, as well as doing some marketing and all around work for Toboggan Brewing Co.

She utilizes her communication skills and is willing to try new things in her everyday life working for the London Knights. Moving forward Holly hopes to work in professional sport, focusing on marketing based on her experiences with Football Ontario.

Marcus Ambersley began his internship with Football Ontario eager to learn as much as possible. The experience helped him develop a strong set of soft skills—particularly leadership—which he now applies in his roles managing marketing teams.

After completing the internship, he joined Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment (MLSE) in a marketing position, where he focused on building and managing partnerships with external companies. He currently works at EA Sports in a similar capacity, leading marketing campaigns for the NHL and UFC titles each year.
